Each piece is made using a traditional backstrap loom, allowing artisans to work from home, at their own rhythm, while maintaining a balance between craft and family life.
Through this model, artisans gain independence and fair income, working in dignified conditions and away from industrial constraints. Their collective represents a meaningful source of social and economic empowerment in rural communities.
The technique used, known as tablet weaving, dates back over 2,000 years. Using small cards to control tension and create patterns, this method gives life to unique pieces defined by precision, patience and heritage.
